TEHRAN, Iran, August 22. Iran and Saudi Arabia
had positive talks and made good steps forward, Iran said
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani, quoted Trend
IRNA.
Speaking at a weekly press conference, he indicated that he was holding
negotiations to resume official ties would be beneficial to both sides.
He noted that Iran’s relations with Saudi Arabia are based on
bilateral issues and not related to the nuclear 2015 revival
deal.
Kanaani highlighted the reciprocal steps taken by Saudi Arabia
would be positive for conducting practical diplomatic talks.
