Chhattisgarh will soon receive the new Eklavya Aadarsh Avasiya Vidyalaya: The Chhattisgarh government is constantly striving to improve the education policy of the state. After the Chhattisgarh government came to power, many English language schools and Swami Atman were opened in the state. Along with this, Swami Atmanand is also preparing to open an English language college. After continuously doing better work in education, the Chhattisgarh government will now open another 50 Eklavya Aadarsh Avasiya Vidyalaya in the state. Even the preparation for which it was initiated. State Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam gave the instructions.
Work started after the instructions –
This information was provided during the Board Meeting of the Housing Institute and Ashram held in Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan under the chairmanship of the Minister of Development and Education of the Tribal and Listed Caste, Dr Premsai Singh Tekam. Approval has been given for the construction of 50 new Eklavya model colleges in the state. In which the construction of 11 buildings was started. Land is being allocated under the Forest Conservation Act for the construction of 12 schools. While the proposal to approve the construction of the remaining 27 schools is being examined by the Indian government’s National Tribal Education Committee.
Officials provided this information to the minister – Officials told the minister at the meeting that in the 2022-23 academic session, 73 Eklavya model colleges operate in the state. Of these 41 schools were affiliated with the CBSE. The affiliation of 39 schools is in progress. In the admission test for admission to the 2022-23 academic session in these managed schools, 27,397 applications were received for 4,380 places and 25,025 children presented themselves for the exam.

Teachers also receive training to teach from the CBSE curriculum. Starting with the 2022-23 academic session, all Eklavya Adarsh colleges operating in the state are taught in English to students admitted to the 6th year.
Better results come from these schools –
In 2021-2022, the CG Board class 10 exam result was 98% and the class 12 exam result was 92.60%. In the CBSE year 2021-22, the 10th grade students’ exam result was 93.32 and 45.47% of the 12th grade. In the year 2021-2022, out of 116 students who took part in the JEE Mains of Eklavya Schools, 69 qualified and 47 took part in the JEE Advanced exam.

During the meeting he was also informed that it is proposed to hold the National Eklavya Model Boarding School Sports Competition in Andhra Pradesh on November 28 and the National Cultural Festival in Karnataka from October 31 to November 2. Students from Eklavya Adarsh colleges operated in Chhattisgarh will participate in these competitions.
Minister Dr. Tekam instructed the officials to send the children with full preparation to participate in these competitions. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Department for Tribal and Programmed Caste Development, DD Singh, Commissioner Shammi Abidi and members of the Council.
