Director Shankar Shanmugam has resumed filming on Indian 2 and his project with Ram Charan has been put on hold. Producer Subasakaran was dissatisfied with Indian 2’s budget increase earlier and canceled the project due to some media controversy between the director and producer. Udhayanidhi Stalin has now joined the project as the producer and the film had kicked off filming. At the moment, the film’s digital and satellite rights have yet to be finalized by the team.
