what you should Know
- A new video showcasing the alleged Pixel 7 Pro has surfaced online.
- The video reveals the device in black color.
- The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, along with the Pixel Watch, are slated to launch actually “this fall.”
We always have mixed opinions about leaking products before they are released. One of which would arouse curiosity among enthusiasts. And the other would destroy the purpose that the manufacturer has set or planned for the market. And Google seems to know this and has started teasing its phones well (months) before launch – to keep both segments of people happy.
An example of this is the latest Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones – Google’s next flagships. They were first announced in May at Google I/O 2022. Again, it was just a sneak peek, but we saw the hands-on leak a few months ago. And now we get to see the device in all its glory with a new Pixel 7 Pro unboxing video in what appears to be a Bangladeshi tech channel.
The video from Bangladesh-based tech channel Gadgetfull BD shows the unboxing of a brand new Pixel 7 Pro a month before its official launch. The video was spotted by Brandon Lee where he shared the alleged unboxing video on his Twitter post.
LOL Someone has already unboxed a real retail ready Google Pixel 7 Pro ? Looking forward to seeing something other than this black color. https://t.co/Bl8Lnn65yI pic.twitter.com/fIpZ0YBTmiSeptember 3, 2022
The video shows the retail packaging similar to the recent Pixel 6a and the previous Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices. It features the Pixel 7 Pro in its all-black glory. The package appears to include a USB Type-C cable and an OTG dongle along with some paperwork.
As mentioned in the title, the video is only for the unboxing of the Pixel 7 Pro and doesn’t go further than showing the device in full size and it’s reduced specs or anything. The guy in the video does include the new Pixel 7 Pro, making it a legitimate device to begin with. The device is further greeted by the popular “Welcome to your Pixel” home screen.
Just a little look at the supposed next best Android device from the video, the black color looks more like Jet Black. It also features a new aluminum camera assembly instead of the glass of the previous models. It has a triple rear camera system with built-in LED flash. The display on the front also looks more substantial, featuring a centered perforation approach.
We expect a series of products to be released by Google this fall, including the Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and the new Pixel Watch. And they will definitely ship with Android 13 and WearOS 3 right away. The upcoming Pixels will also be powered by Google’s second-generation Tensor chip.
Although Google gives us a look at the devices long before their official launch, it also does “leaks” which gives the public a little less anticipation at the official launch.
