Lindsey Vonn is moving on to new things. Lee Daily has learned that the former Olympic skier is dating spirits company founder Diego Osorio. The two met through mutual friends and a source says: “It’s new and they’re enjoying getting to know each other.”
A new photo of Vonn and Spaniard Osorio was posted on Page Six and they can be seen walking hand-in-hand around New York. They strolled around Soho wearing casual outfits, while Vaughn 36 at the time was carrying what appeared to be coffee. They were both grinning the whole time.
Osorio, along with LeBron James and Dia Sims, the former president of Combs Enterprises, is the founder and chief creative officer of Lobos 1707. Lobos 1707 is a premium tequila brand. Mezorio Spirits, the spirits holding business that Osorio founded with Chelsea Clinton’s husband Marc Mezvinsky, is the parent company of the Lobos 1707 range of products. Osorio is also an actor.
It’s been almost five months since Vaughn broke the news that she and hockey player PK Subban had called off their engagement. Between 2007 and 2013, Vaughn was married to Thomas Vaughn. They dated for over three years before splitting in 2015.
After a storied career that included World Cup victories, the Olympic gold medalist announced his retirement from competitive skiing in 2019. After the breakup, she discussed it on Ariana Huffington’s podcast What I learned with Arianna Huffington. Huffington is the founder and CEO of Thrive Global.
She said: “Obviously everyone has their issues. Everyone has different parts of their life that are painful and difficult to get through. But when you get to the other side of it, you find much more happiness and joy. If you accept that, you can learn a lot and discover yourself.”
