Tom Brady wants his marriage to Gisele Bundchen to end a certain way if it does. According to sources, the supermodel is this “manages the divorce,” so the quarterback hires a lawyer just to defend himself.
“She plays offense and he plays defense,” a source told the outlet. “He wants to protect himself, to protect his interests, but he is just starting to go down the legal path in protecting her.” He doesn’t want this to be ugly, he doesn’t want to fight. If the divorce is happening — and it looks like it is — he wants it to go as smoothly as possible.
Page Six was the first to report last month that Tom Brady and Bündchen’s marriage has been in trouble for several months after an “epic battle” over the quarterback’s decision to “retire” from the NFL.
Page Six reported Tuesday that both parties have hired divorce attorneys, and a source said, “I don’t think there’s going to be any going back now.”
Lawyers for Brady and Bündchen are now looking into what the separation will mean and how their assets will be divided. The couple owns a portfolio of properties of value 26 million dollars together among other valuable assets.
“Think about it: Tom had a very charmed life,” the source told People. “Things always seem to go his way. He works a lot, he is a good person, not much has happened in his life. This is terrible for him. You can tell this really, really hurts.
Bündchen has made it clear that she worries about Tom Brady playing football and that she also worries about his past head injuries.
In one of Brady’s previous relationships, they have a 12-year-old son named Benjamin, a 9-year-old daughter named Vivian, and a 15-year-old son named Jack. During Brady’s 23rd season, they live apart. Additionally, Bündchen has not attended any of Brady’s games so far this year.
The former Victoria’s Secret model usually watches games with the couple’s children in a private suite, but she tweeted to wish Brady and the Buccaneers good luck when they opened the season in Dallas last month.
