The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in the segment. The car has been in the market for years and is still the best seller in its segment. It competes with cars like Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun in the segment and all others. There are several modification options for the Creta in the market. One of the most common types of modifications that one can see on the current generation Creta is the modification of a base SUV variant to look like a top-of-the-range model. Here we have one such modified Hyundai Creta which is called Dark Steel edition.

Starting with the front end, this SUV’s grille has been replaced with a Dark Knight Edition unit. The lower part of the bumper is blacked out and there are red inserts in the air dam. The thick black trim around the car is now finished in silver. It is a lower variant of the Creta and the turn signals have been removed from the fenders. It has chrome fender trim and the ORVM has also been replaced.

The ORVM is now electrically adjustable and collapsible. The ORVM adjustment switches are genuine Hyundai parts. The LED flasher is now integrated into the ORVM. The SUV has a side apron fitted with red inserts. The door handles have chrome caps and the silver finish on the trim is complemented by the silver trim on the C-pillar. The steel wheels of this SUV have been replaced with top-of-the-line 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels. The headlights and taillights of this SUV have also been changed.
The headlights are three-beam LED headlamps with wider LED DRLs and the taillights are also of the taller variant. At the back, the rear skid plate is also black and has reflective LED lamps in it. Just like the exterior, the interior of this SUV is also customized. The interior gets a combination of black and red. The door mats are wrapped in soft-touch material in red. The steering wheel of this SUV is wrapped in leather and has multifunction buttons on it. Cruise control is also enabled in this SUV. The seat covers are also customized. The car now gets custom-made seat covers that fit perfectly.
The car gets a black roof lining and a sunglass holder is also fitted. The car gets ambient lights installed in it. The plastic linings of the central console, the instrument panel and the door panels are decided in black metallic. It also comes with floor mats, illuminated door sills, a touchscreen infotainment system that displays information from the rear parking camera and so on. The work done on this SUV looks very neat and looks different from the other Cretas we have seen so far.
