Verdict of the film

Saakini Daakini is a clean remake of Midnight Runners and the filmmakers have managed to adapt the story to the taste of the Telugu audience. Even though the film’s plot seems very subtle, the film still has all the elements that captured the audience from start to finish. The film begins well by introducing key characters and the film becomes more interesting once the story moves to the training academy, where the first part deals with the comedy and the understanding between Nivetha and Regina.

The second half is even more interesting once the kidnapping takes place and Nivetha and Regina’s actions to solve the kidnapping case keep us busy to the climax, however, the emotional part didn’t go well.

Nivetha and Regina two are famous and established actors and both have a unique acting style, coming to this film Nivetha as Shalini is simply brilliant as this type of role is quite new to her, and with a Telangana accent, she Effortlessly played out, Regina as Dhamini is also good, her story behind is the backbone of the film and she’s too good at action scenes, Vennela Kishore and the rest of the cast did well.

Sudheer Varma impressed with his debut film Swamy Ra Ra, he is an expert in making crime dramas, and after a long hiatus he impressed with Super Over with Naveen Chandra and now he is partially successful in making this film, the plot would have Had to be even stronger as we watch the film just for the comedy, it managed to engage the audience, however, it did justice for a remake.

Technically Saakini Daakini’s good training scenes weren’t up to par, but Richard Prasad showed his experience in the night scenes and the songs of Mikey Mc Cleary and Naresh Kumaran didn’t register at all but impressed with the background score and the rest of the technical team did their best.

Finally, Saakini Daakini is a decent movie to watch for those who love comedy.
