Nothing prepares a new pair of true wireless headphones, the Ear Sticks. The brand took advantage of a show by the American designer Chet Lo to preview its next audio device.
Nothing had a busy summer with the launch of the Phone (1), its first smartphone. A strong moment for the young brand founded by Carl Pei, which must not make us forget that thesound it is also one of Nothing’s priorities. The company was invited to the Chet Lo SS23 fashion show to present a first look at Ear Sticks, its next true wireless headphones. These were worn as accessories by the models and Nothing shared a tweet to discuss its future product.

These early images offer a glimpse of the new charging case. The cylindrical design resembles a tube of lipstick or glue. A new format for nothing that should still be based on the design of the ear (1), interesting headphones for an affordable price. Early rumors also mentioned that Ear Sticks would start offering many similarities with ear (1). However, the silicone tips would skip. In particular, we can expect Ear Sticks “open” oa button size.
For now, we will have to be content with these few images and the promise of Nothing. Ear Sticks would be “Extremely comfortable” and Lewins Hopkins is particularly enthusiastic. In an email to The Verge, Nothing’s PR manager in the US explains: “The Ear Stick is a completely new product. A new charging case and a new headset “.
On its website, the brand adds that these upcoming headphones “light as a feather”. Ear Sticks are also said to offer an “ergonomic design”.
A launch before the end of the year?
Nothing called to call are news well in advance, with controlled communication. The decision to approach Chet Lo is not insignificant, the young designer is experiencing a meteoric rise. His creations are loved by stars like Dua Lipa, Doja Cat or Kylie Jenner.
The company does not provide further information on Ear Sticks. It still does not mention the technical characteristics, the price or the release date. Nothing just mentions that the new product is “coming soon”. We wouldn’t be surprised discover the Ear Stick before the end of the year.
