Of the many upcoming animated films coming to Netflix, Wendell & Wild is probably one of our most anticipated. Netflix is developing a new animated black comedy called Wendell & Wild which reunites Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as two scheming demons.
First announced in 2015. Wendell & Wild is directed by the Oscar nominee Henry Selickwhose credits include Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and more. It wasn’t connected to Netflix at the time,
The screenplay was written by Selick and Jordan Peele. Renowned Argentinian artist Pablo Lobato designed the characters for Wendell & Wild. The film will be produced by Ellen Goldsmith-Wayne for The Gotham Group, Peele through his Monkeypaw banner and Selick.
Bruno Kule is the composer of the upcoming film. He worked in 2009 Caroline2004 the chorus, and The Purple Rivers.

What is the Netflix release date Wendell & Wild?
We’ve known this for some time Wendell & Wild is coming to Netflix in October 2022. However, we now have an official release date thanks to the announcement of Netflix’s movie list. It has been confirmed that Wendell & Wild will land on Netflix on Friday, October 28, 2022.
One of the campaigns that Netflix is running for the upcoming film is a live broadcast of a boom box that is owned by Kat.
Look out for Kat, the teenage girl in Henry Selick’s new animated film WENDELL & WILD, co-written by Selick and Jordan Peele.

What is the plot of Wendell & Wild?
on Netflix Wendell & Wild is an animated account of the scheming of demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wilde (Peale) – who enlist the help of 13-year-old Kat Elliott – a tough, guilt-ridden teenager – to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return results in a brilliantly whimsical and comedic adventure like no other, an animated fantasy that defies the laws of life and death, all told through the hand-crafted mastery of stop motion.
