(by October 2021) bilateral trade is US$13.83 billion, which
is an increase of 16 percent over the corresponding period in the financial year
2020-21.

Germany is the 7th largest source of FDI to India. Total FDI
from Germany to India from April 2000 to September 2021 is over 13 USD
billion. In FY 2020-21, German FDI in India was US$ 667 million,
which is 37 percent more compared to the financial year 2019-20.
