Hilary Baldwin is trying to find a good balance in her life now that she has seven children. Baldwin, 38, and her actor husband Alec Baldwin, 64, welcomed their seventh child, a daughter named Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin, on September 22.
Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas is 24 months, Romeo Alejandro David is 4, Leonardo Angel Charles is 6 and Rafael Thomas is 7. Maria Lucia Victoria is 18 months and Carmen Gabriela is 9 years old. Alec is also father to his ex-wife Kim Basinger’s 26-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin.
Hilaria is now talking about what it’s like to be a mother for the second time. On Monday, she posted a photo on her Instagram stories of herself pushing Edu and Maria in a stroller while taking a mirror selfie.
“Making sure my other babies feel like they have a mom too,” she captioned the photo. “Bringing a baby home is magical…and always a transition we all feel.”
She added: “I try to balance [being a] new mom again. With nursing, treatment and grief to make sure all my children feel that I am there to be the best mother I can be.’
“Do I understand correctly?” she asked. “Determines no all the time…mummy fault? obviously. Emotions: everywhere. 7th time. I know it’s a process.
A few hours earlier, she had thanked Carmen and Rafael for stepping up and doing some big sibling tasks while she had a moment to herself.
Sharing a photo of the duo sweetly holding baby Ilaria on her Instagram story, Hilaria said she was “Thankful for these two coming to watch their little sister so I can take a bath. The best assistants”
Sources had already confirmed that Hilaria was coming, and Hilaria and Alec made a joint statement about it.
“How grateful we are to welcome our newest little daughter into this world,” the couple said. “Just as magical and full of love as any other little person we’ve been blessed with.”
They added: “Her Baldwinito siblings are so excited and everyone is debating who she looks most like… we are beyond thrilled to introduce baby Ilaria.”
On Saturday, Hilaria posted a video of the couple’s newborn daughter on Instagram with the caption, “She’s here! We are so excited to introduce you to our little dream come true.”
Hilaria’s pregnancy was confirmed by PEOPLE in March, and Hilaria recently said they’re expecting another girl. The couple talked about their plans to have a child.
“We have ‘somos un buen equipo’ engraved on our wedding rings. We tell each other this all the time at home — that we’re a good team,” the couple said in a statement. “One of the most beautiful things my kids have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with each new sibling. .”
“Our capacity to love continues to expand and we can’t wait to hug our new little one this fall!” they added.
