Brazil celebrates the bicentennial of independence with a parade

Brazil held a parade in honor of the 200th anniversary of
the country’s independence on September 7, 1822, quoted “Trend”.

The parade was held at the Esplanade of Ministries in Brasilia
by Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and attended by Portuguese
President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the President of Cape Verde Jose
Maria Neves and the President of Bissau-Guinea Umaro Sissoko Embalo, Asst
as well as senior Brazilian government officials.

The parade included performances by the Armed Forces, Military
The police, the federal highway police and the fire department, as well
students from military colleges and public schools in the Federal
area.

Members of the World War II Veterans Group and ex-combatants
of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force also took part in
parade.

After the parade, Bolsonaro headed to Rio de Janeiro to lead
civil-military ceremony to mark Independence Day in
Fort Copacabana military base.
