Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has launched an eviction drive in Trahi Achyuta Ashram Mouza. Eviction is underway at Trahi Achyuta Nagar, a residential colony on the Ashram premises.
According to reports, the eviction by BDA is underway at Trahi Achyuta Ashram, where some of the plots will be demolished with the help of a bulldozer.
Nine numbers of illegal plots have reportedly been identified in the premises of Trahi Achyuta Nagar in Jhinti sasan in Bhubaneswar, which will be evicted. These illegally built houses are demolished by IAL.
The eviction drive is taking place at the Ashram in the presence of police, local administration officials and several IAL officials.
On the other hand, the eviction drive met with moderate protest as some locals, including women, opposed the BDA-led initiative at Trahi Achyuta Ashram Mouza.
