A newborn baby girl was abducted from SCB Hospital in Cuttack

Cuttack: In an unfortunate incident, a newborn baby girl was allegedly kidnapped from SCB Medical and Hospital in Cuttack on Monday night.

Reports said Tofan Kumar Jena, the complainant admitted his wife Tilottama Biswal to the hospital on Thursday after his wife complained of labor pain. She gave birth to twin girls.

Today, one of the babies was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit for hypertension. The newborn was jaundiced.

” Today at 3 pm, the newborn baby girl was taken to the intensive care unit to provide light as she was suffering from jaundice. When I went for admission and gave the pass to the security. He reported that the child was taken back and then disappeared,” said father Tofan Jena.

After complaints, the authorities of the Central Security Service scan the recordings from the video surveillance cameras.

The girl’s parents filed a complaint about the entire incident at the Medical Police station in the Central Bank.

Following a tip-off, the police started an investigation into the case.

Earlier, there were many cases of thefts of newborn children from the premises of the SCB Hospital.

Now people need to be aware of these baby kidnappers and be alert.
