Max Verstappen’s victory in the United States Grand Prix last week means he equals the record for most wins by a driver in a Formula 1 season. With three rounds to go and having won seven of the last eight, it would be a shock that if he doesn’t break the record.
The Mexico City Grand Prix concludes the second leg of a North American F1 showdown as we approach the end of the 2022 season.
When is?
The 2022 Mexico City Grand Prix (or Mexican Grand Prix if you prefer) takes place from Friday 28 October to Sunday 30 October.
When does it start?
A reminder that clocks in the UK go back one hour on Sunday morning, so BST (on Friday and Saturday) is switched to GMT.
Friday, October 28:

What TV channel is it on?
Sky Sports F1 have almost exclusive UK live broadcast rights this year and indeed for the next few with their usual excellent team.
Sky’s qualifying program starts at 8pm on Saturday with coverage of the race at 6.30pm on Sunday.
Channel 4 also has extended highlights coverage this year, with their qualifying show starting at 12.30am on Sunday and their race highlights program at 1.05am on Monday morning.
