Who is Nikita Kuzmin?
Nikita is a professional dancer and a six-time national champion in Latin and ballroom in Italy.
Born in Ukraine, Nikita began dancing at the age of four before moving to Italy at the age of nine.
He is also a former professional of Let’s Dance Germany.
In July 2021, it was announced that Nikita would be joining UK Strictly as a professional dancer.
Of the role, Nikita said: “I’ve always been amazed by the magic that Strictly Come Dancing brings.
“No matter what country I lived in, I never missed a chance to watch it.
“And joining him as a professional dancer is my big chance to make some magic on the most famous dance floor. I can’t wait to give it my all!”
In the 2022 series, he will join Amy Dowden, Diane Buswell, Giovanni Pernice, Gorka Marquez, Graziano Di Prima, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Luba Muschuk, Nadia Bychkova, Jovita Przystal, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones and Kai Widdrington .
