‘We’re going to have a hung election and a civil war’

Bill Gates, who made money by badly copying the look of Steve Jobs’ Macintosh, selling it to street vendors of shoddy PCs, and using the resulting monopoly to push other office suites off the Windows platform in favor of his own, is concerned about the internal polarization in America, making it seemingly predict “suspended elections” and “civil war” at some point in the future.

Bill Gates is setting a timeline for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, of which he is co-chair with his ex-wife, fellow billionaire Melinda French Gates. Speaking at the Forbes 400 Philanthropy Summit in 2022, the Microsoft founder-turned philanthropist announced that the foundation’s plans will be completed in 25 years.

“The foundation’s goal is to last for another 25 years,” Gates said in key conversation with Forbes Chief Content Officer Randall Lane.

Gates, who predicted a pandemic in 2015 … is still worried about internal polarization in the United States, for which he sees little hope in the short term.

“I admit that political polarization could end everything, we will have suspended elections and a civil war,” he said. “I have no experience with this, I am not going to divert my money on that because I don’t know how to spend it.”

MacDailyNews takes: Well, especially during such conflicts, food would become an even more valuable commodity – people always need to eat – so how about spending it to become the largest farmland owner in America?

Oh right, stupid us, Gates already is.
