WBBL: Perth Scorchers beaten by Adelaide Strikers in grand final rematch

Adelaide recovered from a stumbling block in a mini-inning by beating Perth by six wickets to avenge the defeat suffered by the Scorchers in last season’s WBBL final.

On Friday, the Strikers were sailing 0-51 chasing Perth 5-111 at Brisbane’s Allan Border Field.

But young Scorchers spinner Lilly Mills struck with three wickets, including Strikers captain Tahlia McGrath’s precious scalp for a duck, in 11 balls to put Perth back into play.
