Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle will be launched in November 2022

Ultraviolette Automotive has finally revealed the launch date of its upcoming F77 electric motorcycle in India. The Ultraviolette F77 will be launched on November 24 in India in a phased manner. The initial launch will be in Bengaluru followed by other major cities in the country.

The Ultraviolette F77 has received 70,000 pre-orders from 190 countries and will be available in three variants – Airstrike, Shadow and Laser. On a full charge, the motorcycle offers a range of 130 km to 150 km. The maximum battery capacity is 4.2 kWh. A 3kW portable charger can quickly charge it in 1.5 hours, while a standard 1kW vehicle-mounted charger can offer a full charge in 5 hours. The battery modules meet military standards and can handle harsh conditions. It is IP67 rated. As for acceleration, the electric bike can reach 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds. From 0 to 60 km/h the bike takes 2.9 seconds. The maximum speed of the motorcycle is 147 km/h, the company claims.

The bike has three driving modes – Eco mode / Sport mode / Insane mode. In terms of brakes, the bike gets a hydraulic disc brake with dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). While the front disc is 320 mm, the rear disc is 230 mm. The dashboard is an automotive TFT LCD module with ultra-high brightness and offers important information. Speaking of dimensions, the EV’s wheelbase is 1340mm and the seat height is 800mm. The curb weight of the motorcycle is 158 kg.

The bike’s safety features include fall and collision sensor, emergency contact warning, side stand sensor, lock mode, rear and front flashing hazard lights, LED headlights with ultra-v marker light and much more.

Accessories available with the Ultraviolette F77 include wheel covers, panniers, visor, standard charger, home charger and more.
