Tips for your child to sleep through the night

Sleep disorders are conditions that cause changes in the way you sleep. That is, a child can sleep and get up in the morning, without stimuli or noises and can no longer go back to sleep, or the child rolls over and over in bed and cannot fall asleep.

So the neurologist explains it Levi Floresof the National Institute of Neurological Sciences, in an interview for the El Comercio group, where he added that sleep is a habit, which is why children should be created a relaxed environment, without noise and with little light so that they can sleep if otherwise you will have difficulties.

To sleep, children and adults produce a hormone called melatonin, which is produced in the hypothalamus. This hormone is generated whenever natural light begins to diminish. When the human eye detects that natural light decreases, melatonin begins to be produced. Two hours before bedtime, the greatest amount of melatonin is produced. But it has been found that this melatonin production is disrupted when electronic devices are abused at night, resulting in children having difficulty falling asleep.‚ÄĚSays the specialist.
