The Voice Season 23: Niall Horan and Chance The Rapper join as Blake Shelton plans to quit

Although Season 22 of The Voice is only halfway done, NBC is already planning big things for Season 23 as it announces its coaching staff.

The panel will feature two new faces in addition to returning coaches such as Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton saying goodbye to the audience. One Direction’s Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper will officially serve as coaches, marking the series’ first time in a while with more than one new coach. Show host Carson Daly will once again take over.

Grammy-winning recording artist Chance, the rapper, will bring a new perspective to The Voice as a champion of ownership and opportunity creator for others in the music business. The singer, who has received praise from fans and critics for his rise to fame, is not affiliated with a major label and instead uses streaming sites to make his songs available for free.

The songs “Child of God”, “A Bar About a Bar” and “The Highs & the Lows” are three of Chance’s latest creations. He is gearing up to release Star Line Gallery, his next installment, Voiceeavor. “I’m thrilled to be coaching The Voice for the upcoming season,” he exclaimed. I am keen to support aspiring artists and make the most of this transformative opportunity. Get ready for a #teamchance.

Horan, meanwhile, is best known for his time in boy band One Direction and his subsequent solo successes, including “This Town” and “Slow Hands”. Fans will be able to see him mentor hopefuls looking to break into the profession as they eagerly await his upcoming venture.

Horan expressed his excitement about becoming a coach on The Voice this season. “As we compete against the other teams, I’m excited to meet and mentor the next crop of talent!”

Her win with the brother-sister group follows A girl named Tom in season 21, Clarkson is eager to resume her coaching position. I can’t wait to see my voice family again! Clarkson said. “Team Kelly, let’s get this done!”

And after this spring season, Blake Shelton will say goodbye to his red chair after 23 seasons with the racing series. Since the program’s premiere in 2011, he has been the only coach to participate in every season. After much deliberation, Shelton stated, I have come to the conclusion that I must leave The Voice after season 23.

This show has improved my life and I will always feel at home there. It’s been a wild ride these twelve years of changing chairs, and I want to thank everyone at NBC’s The Voice, including all the producers, writers, musicians, crew and vendors. You are the greatest.

A live show twice a week requires effort, passion and adult drinks. Over the years I have developed lifelong friendships with Carson and each of my fellow coaches, including my wife, Gwen Stefani.

I must highly praise the Voices singers who return to this stage year after year and delight the audience with brilliance. I also have to express my gratitude to those who chose me as their coach, Shelton said. The fans who support these artists, the coaches and everyone else on The Voice by watching and cheering them on are the final focus of our statement. It couldn’t have happened without you!

Shelton, Stephanie, John Legendand Camila Cabello are the coaches for season 22 of the show. Follow along to watch the competition unfold and learn more about the upcoming spring season.
