The iPhone 15 could be the phone you’ve been waiting for, take a sneak peek

The iPhone 14 series was released worldwide in September 2022. The new series includes four devices, including iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 series omits the mini model that its previous flagship series offered to customers. While the hype surrounding the iPhone 14 hasn’t died down yet, there are speculations about the iPhone 15 on the internet.

If the hype/speculation surrounding the iPhone 15 turns out to be true, it could be a game changer for the company. As reported by Forbes, the Apple iPhone 15 will be powered by the upcoming X70 modem used by Qualcomm. For those who don’t know, Apple used Qualcomm modems in the iPhone 12, 13, and 14. The Qualcomm X55, X60, and X65 modems were used in the iPhone 12, 13, and 14, respectively.

Apple may replace the Lightning connector with USB-C, many rumors have revealed. This may happen due to pressure from the European Union (EU). The European Commission (the EU’s executive body) has asked smartphone manufacturers to equip their devices with a standard USB-C charging port by 2024. This means that Apple must also future-proof its devices.

The probability that the Apple iPhone 15 series will not get the Pro Max variant is also quite high, some sources have revealed. The Pro Max model of the iPhone 15 series may be renamed Ultra. The A dynamic island the feature, which is currently available on the Pro models of the iPhone 14, will be available on all models in the iPhone 15, said display industry analyst Ross Young. However, the displays of the standard iPhone 15 models will be equipped with an LTPO display and not a ProMotion display. The ProMotion display will only be available on high-end iPhone 15 variants, Young added.

In terms of pricing, the iPhone 15 series will be more expensive. Experts have predicted that the price of the smartphone will be higher by $100 (roughly Rs 8,242) when it is launched in 2023.
