The disfigured body of a youth was recovered after two days in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: The youth, who had gone to watch a football match two days ago, his mutilated body was found near Jamubahalli hill under Gasipura police station limits of Anandpur here in Odisha today.

The deceased has been identified as Baidyanath Marandi, a resident of Jinkipata village.

According to reports on Friday, Baidianath informed his family members that he was going to see a football match.

However, he did not return to the house and did not answer phone calls from his family members.

Suspecting something fishy, ​​Baidyanath’s family members lodged a missing complaint with the local police station.

Soon, the police launched a search operation on the missing complaint.

The police later recovered Baidianath’s mutilated body, which was seized today.

According to reports, the police noticed some bruise marks on various parts of Baidyanath’s body.

Meanwhile, Baidyanath’s family members claim that he was killed and dumped on the spot.

The police have started an investigation into the case in the direction of a suspected murder.

It should be noted that in a similar incident on October 4, a mutilated body of a youth was taken out of a school building in Ganjam district on Odisha. An investigation is underway into the case.
