T20 World Cup: Optus Stadium buzzing for mouth-watering doubleheader featuring India and Pakistan
A double header with India and Pakistan on a Sunday afternoon.
Now there is an idea!
Perth cricket fans used their time to shine in a tantalizing double header with Pakistan facing the Netherlands and India facing South Africa.
Fans flooded into Optus Stadium hours before teams hit the nets for a warm-up wearing scarves and flags galore.
And while the lime green and forest of Pakistan dominated the early arrivals, many Indian fanatics were also drawn to the Cricket World Cup party.
Some Pakistani fans were even heard saying they hoped India would win as they prepared to warm up their vocal cords.

Pakistan’s hopes of a semi-final birth almost ended after a surprise defeat at the hands of Zimbabwe in Perth on Thursday, but fans in their green wigs were ready to celebrate regardless.
The Netherlands enter the field winless, but the bright orange of their fans looks confident.
The main event with India and South Africa kicks off at 7pm, with the field roaring in the midst of a crowd of 60,000 expected to clash.

India are leading their group after an incredible final victory over Pakistan at the MCG and a sure victory over the Dutch.
However, South Africa also arrive with a lot of confidence, with only a washout stopping them from reaping wins in all games.
