History

A commercially successful director, the hard-core director decides he wants to make a film about a woman, and then decides to choose the role. Over the course of filming, he met Alekya (Krithi Shetty), a doctor who initially refused to participate but eventually accepted and fell in love with her. The scenario thickens when Alekya’s father finds out that his daughter is making a movie. The story then goes on depending on whether or not she finishes the film and how he handles the situation.

Verdict of the film

Although the two films share a similar idea, the plots of Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali and Sammohanam couldn’t be more dissimilar. One of the few directors in the Telugu film industry, Mohanakrishna Indraganti is known for her ability to consistently deliver original storylines and compelling character creations. His unwavering dedication to authenticity is what set him apart as a revolutionary innovator in cinema.

The director takes his time to develop all the important characters, so it takes a while for the plot to really start and you start traveling with each of them. You were thrilled to see what would happen in the second half because the first had a great balance of comedy and drama.

After being boring, the film gained momentum in preparing for the conclusion, allowing viewers to appreciate Mohankrishna Indraganti’s masterful script. However, the second act of the play shifted the emphasis from comedy to more serious themes.

Despite having a significant amount of screen time, Krithi Shetty’s performance as Alekya fails to convincingly portray a range of emotions. Taking on a variety of roles is admirable, but success in the mainstream requires actual performance. I would say that the role of Sudheer Babu was written especially for him because he is one of the best actors in TFI and excels in the most emotional scenes.

There are also strong characters in Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, although they appear to be enlarged versions of the characters from Sammohanam and the film is clearly aimed at an urban audience. Despite this, he was able to captivate audiences with his brilliant writing. Mohan Krishna Indraganti transcends the boundaries of the film industry.

As a PhD student, I find the name “Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheepali” to be intimidating. We all agree that Vinda has been working with the Indraganti films for some time and that she has provided high quality images for their films. Even though Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheepali’s music falls short, Vivek Sagar has never failed to deliver fun melodies. This time around, his soundtrack for the film’s background seems to have impressed, and the rest of the technical crew did a fantastic job.

Although Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali only caters to a city audience, it’s still a decent film in its own right.
