Similipal National Park will reopen on November 1

Mayurbhanj: The famous Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district will reopen for tourists from November 1, informed the national park authorities.

Visitors will enter the park from the Kalyani and Pitabata gates. Ticket counters will be placed at both entrances. In addition, eco-houses will be available to visitors on the territory of the national park.

Entry will be permitted from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Overnight stay can only be booked online, Similipal National Park authorities inform.

Bookings for overnight stays at eco cottages at Gudgudia, Kumari, Ramtirtha, Barehipani and Jamuani can be made at www.ecotourodisha.com, informed an official.

Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district was closed to tourists from mid-June to October due to the rainy season.
