Rourkela: In a shocking incident, a husband allegedly killed his wife in a fit of rage in Odisha’s Sundergarh district on Monday.
The incident was reported from the outlying area of Deogaon district. The deceased woman has been identified as Manju Sandil.
The husband was caught by the police and detained at the police station.
According to the report, there was a verbal argument between husband and wife and in a fit of rage, the husband killed his wife.
The woman screamed in pain and fear as she was attacked. They reached the spot and found Manju in a pool of blood.
The police immediately arrived at the scene and took her to a nearby hospital, where the doctors pronounced her dead.
The police have sent the body for an autopsy. Further details are awaited.
