Robinson tops five-for-England at The Ovala

LONDON: Seamer Ollie Robinson scored 5-49 beating South Africa by 118 points from 37 overs in their first inning in the third and final test of the third and final test at the Oval on Saturday.

On Thursday morning South Africa were called to bat by the home team, but the first day it was not possible to play due to rain, while the second day was canceled out of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth.

The test is now limited to three days and the streak is 1-1, but England have given themselves a chance to win, Stuart Broad also impressed with a 4-41 in an impressive home bowling performance.

Versatile Marco Jensen overtook the Tourists with 30 before becoming Robinson’s fifth wicket, which Root captured on the first slip.
