After a long absence, a new Rihanna single is finally available. The global icon contributed a sad song to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, so no, we’re not dancing. Thank you, Disney and Marvel Studios.
The soundtrack’s lead song, “Lift Me Up,” was inspired by the incredible life and legacy of the late Chadwick Boseman, who played T’Challa in the film Black Panther Terms, Oscar winner Ludwig Goransson, Rihanna and Ryan Coogler collaborated to write the heartfelt tribute .

Wakanda Forever: Music by and inspired by The Black Panther, the soundtrack album features two brand new singles from Rihanna, both of which will be released on November 4 via Roc Nation Records, Def Jam Recordings and Hollywood Records.
The film was produced by Dave Jordan, Archie Davis, Ludwig Goransson and Ryan Coogler. Hollywood Records will release Ludwig Göransson’s The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Original Score on November 11.
On November 11, 2022, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will make its theatrical debut.
