Agra: In a shocking incident, a 20-year-old youth was killed while three others were injured following a brawl over ‘rasgula’ during a wedding party in Uttar Pradesh’s Etmadpur area of Agra last night.
The deceased has been identified as Sunny.
According to reports, the wedding of Javed and Rashid, both brothers, was to take place at Vinayak Bhavan with Usman’s daughters.
After the wedding ceremony, when dinner was served, a dispute arose over the rasgullas, which were apparently in short supply.
The argument escalated into a big fight, and the guests on both sides pulled out knives and started stabbing each other.
Three people were injured in the incident and taken to hospital, where Sunny died during treatment. Other victims were discharged after receiving first aid.
After learning about the incident, the police arrived at the wedding venue with a forensic team.
Circle Officer Syed Arib Ahmad said the video and CCTV footage are being scanned and people are being questioned to find out the details of the incident.
Sunny’s body has been sent for autopsy.
