Python rescued from temple premises in Banki

Banks: A python was rescued from the premises of a temple near Jatamundiya area here on Sunday. The snake was released into its natural environment – the forest.

According to sources, locals spotted a python walking around in the premises of the Maa Archandi temple, which is located Fron the north side of the Chanda-Dampada shrine.

Locals immediately alerted Lalit Mohan Panda, coordinator of the Banki snake helpline, about the snake.

After being informed, Mr. Panda came to the sport and saved the snake. He later releases the python nearby Chandaka Forest.
