The Poloniex cryptocurrency exchange recently hosted a meeting in India as part of the Poloniex Global tour. The event was held on July 17, 2022 in Taj MG Road, Bengaluru, and served over 70 stakeholders in the crypto space.
The event aimed to promote Poloniex’s expansion into India and a new trading system. The event also promoted the Space Traveler referral program.
Discussions about the cryptosphere
Some of the main topics discussed in the meetup revolved around the reach of cryptocurrency and its impact on the global economy. In addition to this, Kingsley Tan, Poloniex’s Global Marketing Manager, also shared cryptocurrency investments, how to identify good projects and stay safe while investing and the importance of building in India, especially during bear markets.

The India Blockchain Tour is a series of events conducted by Octaloop to help spread awareness about Web3 and blockchain technology, while providing industry professionals with a way to network and grow.
The Poloniex team has yet to meet cryptocurrency enthusiasts in several cities like Chennai and Hyderabad in September. These meetings are warm-up sessions to host the main Metamorphosis event in Bengaluru in September 2022.
