Teenager and stepmother arrested in PNB rock murder case: Los Angeles detectives arrested a woman and a young man Tuesday as they search for people believed to be responsible for the death of the Philadelphia rapper PnB rock at a restaurant in South Los Angeles after an argument over his valuables.

The first arrestee, a child under the age of 18, was taken into custody in Lawndale early Tuesday, according to Los Angeles Police Department. His stepmother Shontell ThroneThe 32-year-old, who was detained in Gardena and charged with complicity in murder, was recognized as the second suspect.

Freddy Trohn, a longtime member of a South Los Angeles street gang, fled from police as they tried to apprehend him Tuesday, according to multiple law enforcement sources who spoke to NBC LA.
