Paul vs Silva scorecards revealed as YouTuber seals win with late knockdown
The results of the clash between Jake Paul and Anderson Silva have been revealed.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul scored a unanimous decision victory over the UFC legend in their boxing match early Sunday morning.
The verdict stunned the fans in attendance at Arizona’s Desert Diamond Arena, with many adamant that Silva won more rounds than he was given.
And the judges’ scores for the bout have since come to light.
The cards revealed that referee Paul Calderon gave Silva three of the eight rounds, marking the second, third and fifth stanzas in favor of the Brazilian.
Judges Dennis O’Connell and Chris Wilson scored the fight in favor of Paul by a larger margin, giving Silva only the second and third fifth rounds.
Boxing fans were quick to comment, with one saying: “Jake won but one of the judges was high ASF it was so close.”
Another said: “Where do these judges find them?”
And another said: “Terrible results, Jake definitely won but it was very close.”
One chimed in: “Giving 5 rounds to Jake (except the last one obviously) is crazy lol.”

The win over MMA great Silva increased Paul’s professional boxing record to a perfect 6-0.
In his post-fight interview, he said: “It’s a surreal moment. Hard work pays off.
“First and foremost I want to thank Anderson.
“He was my idol growing up. He inspired me to be great.
“He was the first celebrity I met. Without him, we wouldn’t have had a fight this year. He’s a tough mobster. A legend.
“I have nothing but respect for him. It just goes to show that everyone watching at home is chasing their dreams. It’s never too late.”
