Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis hit out at ‘false’ claims made by former nanny

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis released a joint statement about their split that was widely reported.

The former couple, who were together from 2011 to 2020 and have two children together, spoke out on Monday in response to a story in The Daily Mail in which a woman said to be a former nanny to both stars revealed alleged personal details of the time leading up to and around their separation.

“As parents it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to publicly make such false and vile allegations against us.” read their joint statement. “Her now 18-month campaign of harassment against us, as well as close, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate climax.”

“We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children in the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.” the statement ended.

Sources have yet to confirm the woman’s claims, but she spoke to a British news channel about how the pair interacted while Wilde was meeting and working with Harry Styles on the set of her film Don’t Worry, darling’.

Wilde told Vanity Fair in the past that her relationship with Sudeikis, with whom she has a 5-year-old daughter named Daisy and an 8-year-old son named Otis, ended long before she started dating Styles.

Sometimes it is difficult for the couple to be apart. The “Booksmart” director recounted how Sudeikis’ legal team served her with custody papers while she was presenting her latest film at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. She called the move “vicious.”

This was reported by a source familiar with the matter about Sudeikis “there was no prior information about when or where the envelope would be delivered” and called it “inappropriate.”
