Meta today introduced some great features to add interaction to our reels.
It’s an “add” tag for Reels, both Facebook and Instagram, so our followers can react to our video with their own by following a specific message or topic.
The goal is to allow interaction and make topics viral.
Entering this tag will display the reels added by others on a page dedicated to this post. Anyone can see that there is a thread on this topic, and you can always check who started the thread to give credit to the original creator.
In addition to being able to interact by participating in thematic threads, it will also help to meet new people and profiles that may interest us, even if it seems that the algorithms are now focused on the topics and not on the users (we can see the contents without having to follow the author).
The tag is a popular feature of Stories, but we now see it in Reels to continue prioritizing short videos as this will encourage users to keep posting different content.
In addition to this new tag, it also offers the ability to easily post reels from Instagram to Facebook and automatically create Facebook reels with previously shared Facebook Stories collections.
