New Apple iPhones and Apple Watches are off to impressive start

According to various analyst notes, demand for Apple’s iPhone 14 series and Apple Watch Ultra appears to be strong. JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee also sees a favorable iPhone mix as demand tends to Apple’s new iPhone 14 Pro and flagship iPhone 14 Pro Max. Apple Watch mix also looks strong, with high demand for Apple Watch Ultra.

In a note to customers, Chatterjee wrote:

“The indications of iPhone demand are strong after launch, and while similar to last year the mix continues to be more favorable towards Pro models, delivery times for the two Pro models are already longer than last year. Delivery times have already reached extended lead times one day after launch compared to extended lead times one week after launch for the iPhone 13. Among the remaining products, there is also an indication of demand based on lead times for the Apple Watch Ultra is pretty cool. “

“Globally, the Watch Series 8 and Watch Ultra’s lead times were tracked at 28 and 34 days respectively, while Watch SE was less popular at 8 days, suggesting there is strong consumer interest in Watch Ultra. In all regions but one, AirPods Pro 2 delivery times were tracked until the earliest available date (September 23). ”

Note from MacDailyNews: Chatterjee maintains an Outperform rating on Apple stock with a price target of $ 200.
