Nancy Pelosi wanted to “bathe” Trump during video broadcasts

On the day of January 6, 2021 Capitol uprising, Nancy Pelosi claims she wanted to “punch” President Donald Trump in the face.

In a new video released Thursday, the House speaker said, “If he comes, I’m going to kill him.” “I was waiting for this, to enter the Capitol grounds. I’ll punch him and go to jail and be happy.”

The never-before-seen footage was shot by her daughter, documentary filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi. It shows Pelosi talking to her staff.

An abbreviated version of Alexandra’s behind-the-scenes footage was shown at the latest House committee hearing on the January 6 attack on Thursday.

Pelosi was furious before the Capitol was broken into. She had just seen Trump’s speech to his supporters, in which he told them to march to the Capitol to protest Congress’s decertification of the election results.

“Tell him if he comes here, we’re going to the White House,” Pelosi said in the video, joking.

When Pelosi’s chief of staff tells her that the Secret Service was able to “dissuade” Trump from coming to the Capitol, which Trump aide Cassidy Hutchinson confirmed in testimony Thursday, she says she would “kill” him.

Earlier footage shown at the committee hearing showed Pelosi sitting in a secure but undisclosed location as Donald Trump supporters stormed the building and asked a staff member if lawmakers were still in session.

“There has to be some way to maintain the sense that people have that there is some security or some confidence that the government can function and that you can elect the president of the United States,” Pelosi said in the footage. “Are we back in session?”

An off-camera official then said: “We’re back in session, but now apparently everyone’s putting on teargas masks to prepare for a breakout.”

“They put on…?” Pelosi then asked quizzically. The staff member replied, “Their tear gas masks.” “Do you believe this? Do you believe that?” Pelosi said quietly.

In another part of the video, Pelosi can be heard saying she heard about damage to the building, such as “defecation” on the floor of the house.

“It can take time to clean up the poo-poo…literally and figuratively [that] they do in the Capitol,” Pelosi said in the video.
