Montblanc launches a new Naruto brand Summit 3!

Wear OS 3, the latest version of Google’s smartwatch operating system, has a lot going for it. But to attract even more customers, why not add … Naruto? This is Montblanc’s bet!

The Montblanc luxury house, producer of course of the famous pens, also produces leather goods and also related watches. The manufacturer has staked everything on Google’s operating system, Wear OS, to power its smartwatches and has always done so. Additionally, Montblanc is generally the search engine’s first partner when a major version of the operating system is released, as we saw at the recent Summit 3.

A black frame and a special dial

And as if all these arguments weren’t enough to convince you to spend nearly $ 1,500 for a connected watch, Montblanc has added another unstoppable edition: a special edition of Naruto to commemorate the manga’s 20th anniversary. ! The Summit 3 serves as the basis for this new model, but this time the metal frame is finished in black (silver in the original version).

Montblanc adds the engravings of Naruto’s emblematic weapons, while the Konohagakure symbol is embossed on the leather strap. A special clock face has also been developed with the animated hero, but of course you can change it at any time. After all, it remains a smartwatch!

The rest of the technical characteristics do not change: the round AMOLED screen is 1.28 inches (416 x 416), the clock works with a Snapdragon 4100+ chip, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage. The sensors are classic: heart rate measurement, barometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, but also Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. There are three physical buttons, including two programmable buttons.

This model retails for € 1,460. Montblanc also offers a selection of Naruto products, including pens, a shopping bag, a notebook, a reporter’s bag and an inkwell.
