Leeds vs Arsenal: Premier League – LIVE!
The Premier League leaders travel to Elland Road this afternoon to continue the good times under Mikel Arteta. Arsenal arrive in West Yorkshire on a superb six-game winning streak and having won eight out of nine in the league season to top the table, with a chance here to put more pressure on second-placed Manchester City, who are a point behind and face a big clash with Liverpool at Anfield later.
It’s a different story for Leeds, who have gone five top-flight games without a win since their thrilling defeat by Chelsea in August. The likes of Brighton, Brentford and Crystal Palace have sacked the Whites in recent weeks, although American manager Jesse Marsh continues to insist he remains fully backed and is the right man for the job.
The pre-match omens are not very promising for the hosts, who have lost four in a row against today’s opponents in all competitions, failing to beat them for almost 20 years. Follow Leeds v Arsenal with Standard Sport’s LIVE blog below, with expert analysis from Elland Road’s Dan Kilpatrick!
