Patrick Lahusen has been exploring natural gas in Switzerland for many years. At 77, he would still like to produce his gas using fracking.

Patrick Lahusen is a man of action. When he thinks he is about to find natural gas, nothing can stop him. In 2004, for example, they caused an explosion at 4 o’clock in Weiach, Zurich, at an altitude of 1,400 meters because the demolition expert was not on site. He is also responsible for the deepest well ever dug in Switzerland. “After the French experts had already left at the end of the week, I took charge of the last 13 meters of the 5,945 meter deep hole,” he recalls these nerve-wracking hours 33 years later.
