Kasautii Zindagii Kay (StarPlus) Series Cast, Times, Story, Real Name, Wiki & More: The Indian Hindi-language series Kasautii Zindagii Kay was created by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and airs on Star Plus. The show originally starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan as Prerna Sharma, Anurag Basu, Rishabh Bajaj and Komolika Majumdar, but later cast Hiten Tejwani, Ronit Roy, and Urvashi Dholakia in those roles. The show was screened from 29 October 2001 to 28 February 2008. Disney + Hotstar now has the entire series available for digital streaming. There are few shows that have been on Star Plus longer than this.
The drama focused on the tragic love story between Anurag and Prerna. Their family history, including the lives of their children and grandchildren at various ages.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay (StarPlus)
Kasautii was dubbed into the native languages of Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Mauritius and aired there. Kapoor said Anurag was named in honor of her director friend and Prerna was named after the daughter of her father’s friend Prem Chopra. The series premiered in February 2005 at 11.3 TVR on Maharaja TV and peaked in April 2005 at 8 TVR, making it one of the most viewed programs in Sri Lanka.
