Typhoon Nanmadol slammed into Japan over the weekend and moved into the Pacific Ocean on Tuesday after killing four people, injuring dozens, triggering landslides and dumping up to two feet of rain in just 24 hours. It did not spare the space center on the island of Tanegashima.
