The first Rush Hour movie came out in 1998 and was so popular that two more were made, which were released in 2001 and 2007.
Since 2017, rumors have been circulating about the fourth film in the action comedy series.
But it’s been years and we still haven’t seen the footage of the sequel we’ve been waiting for.

Does Rush Hour 4’s production seem likely?
Rumors about Rush Hour 4 have been circulating for years, but at the time of writing we still don’t know if it’s in the works or not.
Let’s take a look at how the planned sequel came about.
In October 2017, Jackie Chan said they had agreed on a script for the film and were just waiting for Chris Tucker to approve the script.
Tucker confirmed in February 2018 that he would be in Rush Hour 4.

A film was supposed to start production in 2018, but for some unknown reason this didn’t happen.
We received another update from Tucker in January 2019, which stated that they are currently re-evaluating the script.
“We are now working on some elements of the script and as a result we are trying to move into production; however, we are still working on it and trying to get it moving. Since Jackie Chan wants to do it, I want to do it, and the studio wants to do it too, the three of us and the studio are working together to make it happen, “according to Tucker on the Winging It podcast.
In April 2019, fans were thrilled to find that Tucker posted a photo of him and Chan with four fingers each.
Fans naturally thought the photo meant Rush Hour 4 would come after a long wait.
But in an unexpected twist, Jackie Chan’s management said in a statement the next day that Chan hadn’t agreed to be in Rush Hour 4.
Tucker is still talking about Rush Hour 4 and a few other projects as of October 2019. He says he and Jackie are still trying to figure out the film.
Tucker told ABC Audio, “Jackie Chan and I are talking about doing something new and different, so we’ll see,” adding, “We hope to do something very soon.”
Rush hour 4 Date of the premiere
The show’s filming schedule is still uncertain. You will not be able to receive an expected release date until the actual production of the show begins.
Production probably won’t start anytime soon.
Rush Hour 4 is expected to hit theaters in the summer of 2023, assuming the film can start production this year. However, given the current state of the film, it may still be postponed.

We haven’t received any further news yet, including full Rush Hour 4 cast information, so please be patient. However, if lead actors Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker weren’t involved, the fourth installment of the film series would be devoid of something very important.
Only these remain consistent throughout the series. As a result, we expect the sequel to feature a significant number of new entrants.
Meanwhile, Tzi Ma, who plays Ambassador Solon Han and appeared in the first and third films, is a potential candidate to return.
Soo-Yung Han, the daughter of Solon Han, is also one of the main characters. However, she was played by a different actress in each of the three films; in the first film she was Julia Hsu and in the third film she was Zhang Jingchu.
Rush Hour 4: Production
Warner Bros. Pictures was responsible for the distribution of the three Brett Ratner films, which he directed individually.
Following a series of sexual harassment allegations made by Olivia Munn, Natasha Henstridge and four others, Brett Ratner has decided not to return for production on the fourth film in the series.
Although it denied the allegations, Warner Bros. previously said in April 2018 that it would not extend its first-glance and co-funded deals with Ratner and his company RatPac-Dune Entertainment. This news came despite Ratner denying the allegations.
