INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo Discharges From Military Service

Actor and member of the boy band of K-Pop INFINITE star Kim Myung Soo (L) was discharged from military service on August 21 after 18 months. L, then 28, joined the army on February 22, 2021 and served in the South Korean Marine Corps.

The South Korean star used her Instagram account on August 22 to announce her leave from the army. Kim Myung-soo wrote: “I have learned and heard a lot and have had a healthy life as a sailor. Thanks to everyone who waited. Part 2 begins.

Part of the photo published by the K-Pop idol is a South Korean Marine Corps Award Certificatewhich said: “The person appointed has faithfully carried out his duties with a strong sense of duty …”

The certificate continues: “… in particular, he has greatly contributed to the realization of a healthy and vibrant forward neighborhood through active participation in the True Marines Innovation Movement 2.0, for which this award is awarded”.

The Korean Marine Corps announced on Instagram that 1,267 recruits, including L, who enlisted on February 22 last year, were dismissed on August 21. In other news, it is circulating on social networks that the BTS idols would not go to military service as we all know for a “new alternative”.

Military service is a compulsory duty for all Korean men and L enlisted after starring in the drama “Royal Secret Agent”. He applied for voluntary enrollment in the Marine Corps in 2020 before filming “Royal Secret Agent” and was accepted.

Prior to his enlistment, INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo released her debut solo single “Memory” and held an online fan meeting. Kim Myung-soo debuted as a member of Infinite in 2010 and ventured into acting.
