IND vs SA: Teams of India, South Africa reach Thiruvananthapuram before the first T20I. cricket news

The Indian cricket team arrived in town on Monday for the first ever T20 International against South Africa to be played at Greenfield Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram on 28 September. The team was warmly welcomed by fans and the Kerala Cricket Association at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. The South African team reached the state capital on Sunday and started training on Monday. “Team India will reach the field for training on September 27. They will train from 17:00 to 20:00. Team South Africa will train on the field from 13:00 to 16:00,” KCA said in a Note.

The team captain will meet with the media on September 27 for a pre-match interaction.

KCA said there were only 2,000 tickets left for the match. The stadium has a capacity of 55,000 seats.

Kerala Cricket Association Joint Secretary Rajith Rajendran and Thiruvananthapuram District Cricket Association President Rajeev greeted the Indian team at the airport.


The fares for the upper level, the pavilion and the KCA grandstand are respectively Rs 1,500, Rs 2,750 and Rs 6,000. Meals will be included in the KCA grandstand seat ticket.
