Bhubaneshwar: The night temperature is continuously falling at various places in Odisha as winter has finally started showing its effects in the state.
Night temperatures fell below 15 degrees at as many as 14 places in the state, the MeT department said. According to reports, Similguda recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 9.1 degrees.
According to the latest tweet on the official twitter of the meteorological center here in Bhubaneswar, cold has been experienced at 14 places in Odisha.
According to reports, 14 cities in Odisha recorded night temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. Bhubaneswar recorded a minimum temperature of 18.1 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, Daringbadi recorded a night temperature of 11.0 degrees Celsius, while Boudh, Koraput and Phulbani recorded 15.0, 12.0 and 12.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
The MeT also predicts that the weather will change from tomorrow and light to moderate rain will occur at some places in South Odisha.
