Cuttack: The State Transport Authority (STA) has filed an affidavit in the Odisha High Court on the issue of High Security Number Plate (HSRP) and the deadline for putting up the HSRP plate has been extended by one month here at Odisha today.
Further, the affidavit also mentions that arrangements have been made to book 25,000 numbers per day. The information sheet mentions that slot bookings are available online in the month of November.
The next hearing of the case is scheduled for November 28. A bench comprising Chief Justice S Muralidhar and Justice Murahari Sriraman heard the case.
It should be noted that vehicles ending with number 1, 2, 3, 4 are given a deadline of November 30 to install HSRP as in other states of the country HSRP has been implemented in various vehicles from April 1, 2019 Mr.
It is to be noted that the vehicles which are registered before 2019 have to affix the HSRP registration number within the given time frame, informed NTA (National Transport Authority).
STA through the affidavit further informed that arrangements have been made in case the number plate is broken or damaged, the vehicle owner can re-issue the HSRP reservation online.
