Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) fears she may go blind in Hollyoaks after a “dull pain” behind her eye causes her vision to blur.

The deputy headmaster is determined to take part in the upcoming duathlon in memory of Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy), who died earlier this year after a battle with FTD.

However, her attention has been diverted in recent episodes, after clashing with colleague and mortal enemy Olivia Bradshaw (Emily Burnett), who is on a mission to wreak havoc.

As viewers know, Olivia wants to impress Sally St. Clair (Annie Wallace) and secure a promotion, but Nancy being at the top of her game earlier this week backfired on her grand plan.

Determined to defy her nemesis, Olivia subsequently signed up for the duathlon as well, much to Nancy’s dismay, and even claimed to have raised £2,000 in less than 24 hours.

Nancy knew full well that there was more going on than meets the eye, and thus hacked into Olivia’s fundraising page, where she discovered that Olivia herself had donated the money!

However, Sally was more interested in the fact that Nancy used Olivia’s personal information to gain access to her account, claiming that this was a fireable offense and that the board should be notified.

With Olivia triumphant again, Nancy heads to The Dog for an afternoon drink before returning to the school, where Sally informs her that she won’t interfere with the council after all, as Nancy is too good a teacher to lose.

But things take a nasty turn moments later when Nancy’s vision goes blurry, leaving Olivia and Sally convinced she’s had too much to drink.

However, Nancy reiterated that she only had one glass before going to the classroom where she called Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) informing him that she couldn’t see.

Darren arrived quickly and asked Nancy if she thought her blurred vision was related to her MS.

Nancy didn’t know and added that she was “really stressed” and had a “dull pain” behind her eyes before her vision began to blur.

“Darren, I can’t see!” she exclaimed. “What if I go blind?”

Will Nancy be okay?
